First of all we would like to wish you all a very good 2024!!

In this first letter of the year we would like to tell you more about the National Geographical Society bird project and about the importance of it for the preservation of culture and nature in the Tikuna communities. After last year’s victory –  the recognition of the ancestral lands for San Martin de Amacayacu – we are already preparing the steps needed to get another piece of land recognised which due to a complex situation could not be included in the last application. In this newsletter we also mention how we see the future of Small World Foundation and the continuation of the newsletters.
