Last weekend, the Small World Foundation was present at the K3WK at event in the Porcherie in Riel. The people running the Porcherie create the opportunity for African artists to sell their work in the Netherlands, where the chance of being bought is much higher. In Africa itself, tourists usually only take small pieces to avoid having to pay for overweight on their travel back home. Since this is an idea much in the line of thinking of the Small World Foundation, we were proud to have been able to join forces last weekend to ask for attention for these artists as well as for San Martin de Amacayacu. The profits for San Martin from the sale of the handmade jewellery from the Amazon where about 250 euro! Thank you for your visit and purchase!
