Last Saturday August 10th, the Small World Foundation volunteers once again joined forces to raise funds for the planned new kindergarden in San Martin de Amacayacu in the Colombian Amazon. It was at the yearly Farmers Day in Alphen that the team kept the public toilets spotless (literally..!!) in exchange for 0.50 eurocents a visit. The 16-hour shift was full of fun, laughter, information sharing and team building. The total count of 1510 euro made it even more worth it!
In two weeks, the team will repeat this exercise at the Tractor Pulling weekend. Thanks STTA for the opportunity! Check out the project Facebook site for more information, pictures and videos!
