Remember you were invited to vote for the best picture on participative mapping on the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) website ?? Remember how one picture from San Martin won a prize with which a photo camara was bought (to keep taking pictures for our archive..)? When we had almost forgotten, the CTA Participative Geographic Information Systems Training Kit (decorated with this and several other pictures from San Martin -see below-) is finally available in Spanish and English! Even though we had no involvement of CTA during San Martin´s mapping process, we are proud that our pictures we considered so illustrative for this important international publication.
