In January, indigenous representatives traveled to Bogot’a for a meeting with the National Land Agency (ANT) with a positive result: The next meeting was scheduled for the beginning of March. The CO2 discussions reached boiling point and hopefully there is a way out, leading to a fair distibution of the monetary resources gained as a result of the rainforest in the ancestral lands having been so well conserved over the last centuries.
